Down the Hill is the 18th main mission in Arknights Endfield. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Down the Hill main quest.
- Starting Location: Valley IV
- Quest Giver: Automatically begins after completing Main Mission 17 – Mystery in the Building
- Chapter: 1 – Process 3
- Requirement: Complete Main Mission 17 – Mystery in the Building
- Reward: Origeometry x1, T-Creds x3,250, Intermediate Combat Record x10, Protoprism x5, Arms INSP Kit x8, EXP x200
- Quest Description: Tata has regained its vigor. You decide to head to the Origin Lodespring.
Note: You need to be Authority Level 25 before you can finish this quest. You do not receive this warning at the beginning of the quest, but it appears later on after finishing the first objective.
Proceed down the mountain trail
Make sure to unlock the depot directly in front of you before progressing.
Then, turn north and follow the path along the mountainside.
It soon leads you to a dilapidated bridge. When you cross, it falls out from under your feet.
Go right and jump across the gap. The second gap is a bit wider than the first, so make sure to sprint before you jump this gap.
Around the next corner is a trio of Landbreakers. Feel free to take them out if you wish. Otherwise, you can skip this fight and just move on to the next step.
Approach the west planks and jump down to the platform below.
When you approach the next drop, you see another trio of enemies. Just like the last one, you can choose to fight them or you can choose to continue west.
Jump across the little gap to trigger a cutscene.
Reach Authority Level 25 / (Optional) Complete Operation Manual missions and earn Operational EXP and rewards
Here is where you need to be Authority Level 25. At that Authority Level, your Exploration Level also increases to level 3 automatically.
Make sure to activate the depot right in front of you. This makes returning to this point much easier later if you need that option.
If you are already Authority Level 25 when you reach this point, you will automatically progress to the next objective.
Once you are fully prepared, talk to Perlica
Interact with Perlica to progress the story.
Go to the Origin Lodespring
Proceed into the mountain pass directly in front of you.
Follow down this linear path until you reach a bridge.
